The Jeep Gladiator is a rugged crew-cab pickup truck with a five-foot cargo bed. Jeep designed the pickup truck to be the most off-road capable truck ever. The Gladiator builds upon Jeep’s long history of dependable trucks that offer unmatched utility, toughness, functionality, and versatility.
In all, the Gladiator is designed to handle all the demands of an active lifestyle all the while offering the same experience as other Jeep models. All Jeeps are built to allow drivers the option to live life at the fullest with a sense of security and confidence.

The always off-road ready Jeep Gladiator adds diesel power across the model’s lineup with a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with ESS. Other additions include the Gladiator 80th Anniversary Edition and the Willys model, and the availability of full-time four-wheel drive in all models. Additionally, the Overland trim now offers a TrailCam forward-facing off-road camera that can be accessed through the available off-road package, and the Sport trims now offer LED headlamps and fog lamps as optional equipment.
The 80th Anniversary Edition comes with neutral grey metallic exterior accents, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, 18-inch wheel with granite crystal finish, and commemorative exterior badging. The Gladiator Willys features a limited-slip rear differential, rock rails, and 32-inch mud tires.
The diesel engine generates 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The Gladiator houses a 2.6-liter V6 that produces 285 horsepower that is paired with a standard six-speed manual transmission. An eight-speed automatic remains optional. The Gladiator can tow up to 7,650 with the available Max Towing Package.
The Gladiator offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay®, along with the choice of a 7-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen. A 5-inch screen comes standard on the Sport trim. Within, the Gladiator’s body and roof panels can be removed to create an open-air cabin.
Safety features include standard electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation, trailer-sway control, hill-start assist, and brake traction control, along with more than 80 available safety and security features.
The Gladiator comes in five trims: Sport, Sport S, Overland, Mojave, and Rubicon.
The Jeep Gladiator was first introduced in 1962. The Gladiator name lasted until 1971, when it became the J-Series up until 1987. Jeep pickups were discontinued following 1988. The Gladiator reemerged in late 2018. The Gladiator was one of the first civilian vehicles after World War II that could be adapted for military use.
