What's New for 2025?
Technically speaking, the new Charger Daytona is the second time this model has been on the market. First released in 2018, the Charger Daytona was exclusively a two-door model. This year, A pair of rear doors, as does an updated pistol-grip shifter, comes on the model.


Design
With a style reminiscent of that of the early Charger models and the more recent Challenger, the new Charger Daytona stands out with its sleek muscular frame. The Daytona's interior is also suitably pleasing, with comfortable accommodations for four adults. A 10.3- and 16.0-inches instrument cluster is available, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display is standard across all models.
Like the exterior, the interior echoes the style and feel of the old-school Charger design. However, there are more modern updates that Smyrna shoppers will surely appreciate, like a redesigned "pistol grip" shifter, the start/power button, and a wireless phone charger. While word has yet to come out about the model's cargo space, we do expect it to have the same 1.5 cubic-foot frunk it previously offered.
Performance
Installed in every new Daytona model are two electric motors, one front and one rear, that provide standard all-wheel drive. Each model also comes with a 100.5 kW nickel cobalt aluminum battery and a 400-volt architecture offering two power levels. In the base R/T, the Charger Daytona outputs 456 horsepower, while the Scat Pack boosts the output to 630 hp.


Charging & Range
While no official range has come out for the Charger Daytona, preliminary Dodge estimates say the Daytona R/T's range is about 317 miles, and the Scat Pack is about 260 miles. Dodge also says the Charger Daytona can be recharged from 20 to 80 percent in just over 27 minutes when hooked to a Level 3 DC CCS fast charger. Level 2 charging units will be available from Dodge but are optional.
Technology
When sitting in the cabin, Douglasville and Sandy Springs drivers will find a 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard in every model. Running on the Uconnect 5 system, the infotainment display provides access to satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and navigation. A head-up display is also available, as is a nine-speaker Alpine stereo. Though a premium 18-speaker stereo is optional.


Safety
Along with a slew of tech features, Dodge has also installed a comprehensive list of standard and optional safety features to the new Charger Daytona. Regardless of the powertrain, Powder Springs shoppers will receive equipment like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. There's also a new system called "vulnerable road users' detection," which detects pedestrians and bicyclists.
